Chat File Attachments

Supported Formats & Capacity Limits

You can attach up to 10 text or code files per chat message across single or multiple selection rounds. Attached files provide structured context for code review, debugging, configuration audits, and document summarization.

Allowlisted Extensions

.ts, .tsx, .js, .jsx, .py, .go, .rs, .java, .c, .cpp, .cs, .php, .rb, .sql, .sh, .html, .css, .vue, .json, .yaml, .yml, .toml, .xml, .ini, .md, .csv, .log, .txt

File & Context Limits

Up to 10 files per message, with each file up to 1 MiB. Combined attachments operate within an aggregate runtime analysis limit of 12,000 characters.

Unsupported File Formats

CYRIS chat does not currently analyze PDF documents, image files (.png, .jpg, .gif), compressed archives (.zip, .tar, .gz), or compiled binary files. Files must contain valid UTF-8 text.

Storage & Data Handling

Raw uploaded bytes are not retained on public storage. Uploaded content is validated, redacted for sensitive credential patterns, and stored in association with your conversation. You can remove individual attachments before sending or delete attached assets at any time.
